We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a law graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in immigration law and develop their legal career in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Working closely with senior caseworkers and management, you will assist with the preparation and management of immigration applications and client matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation and submission of immigration applications.
- Drafting client correspondence and legal documents.
- Liaising with clients to obtain supporting documentation and information.
- Maintaining accurate case records and client files.
- Conducting legal and factual research when required.
- Preparing application bundles and supporting evidence.
- Monitoring case progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Providing administrative support to the wider team.
Requirements
- LLB degree with a minimum classification of 2:1.
- LPC/SQE/BPTC candidates preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex legal information accurately.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Proven customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with legal software like Clio and document management systems is advantageous.
