Head Chef - Award-Winning Dining Pub - The Cotswolds
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a highly regarded independent dining pub in the Cotswolds.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take over a well-established kitchen with an excellent reputation for seasonal, produce-led cooking. Working closely with the owner, you'll have the opportunity to build on an already successful operation while bringing your own ideas, leadership and creativity to the role.
The Perks
The Head Chef will receive:
- Package of approximately £56,000 per annum
- Performance-related bonus

The Place
Our client is a busy independent dining pub with boutique accommodation, serving up to 100 covers per service. The kitchen has built an excellent reputation for producing high-quality, seasonal dishes using exceptional local ingredients sourced from trusted suppliers.
With a focus on simple, produce-led cooking, the menu changes regularly to reflect the seasons, complemented by daily specials showcasing the very best local ingredients. This is a quality-driven operation with a loyal customer base and an experienced, passionate team.
The Person
The successful Head Chef will have:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef within a quality fresh food operation, or be a strong Sous Chef ready for their first Head Chef role
- A genuine passion for seasonal, produce-led cooking
- Proven experience leading, motivating and developing a kitchen brigade
- The ability to create exciting seasonal menus and daily specials
- Strong knowledge of food costing, GP management and labour control
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A calm, hands-on approach with high standards and exceptional attention to detail
- The ability to lead a busy kitchen while maintaining consistency and quality throughout service
