We are looking for a Patient Co-ordinator (Receptionist) to join our expanding team, who will provided a high level of customer care for our patients.
Our practice, based in the heart of York, is independently owned and provides family dental care.
Working hours: 26.75 to 35 hours per week over 3 to 4 days. 7.45am to 5.30pm.
Starting salary: Minimum Wage (negotiable for candidate with previous dental experience), will increase once passed probation.

Specific Skills Required:
- Dental background is preferred but medical, administrative or hospitality background will also be considered
- Excellent focus on patient journey and hight level of customer service
- Willing to learn and carry out continued professional development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive, calm, caring with a positive attitude
- Experience with Dentally Software (preferred but no required)
- A good level of computer literacy including knowledge of Microsoft office 365
- GDC registration (desirable but not required)
Your Key Responsibilities:
- To provide a reliable, efficient and timely service to ensure we exceed patient expectations at every visit and provide a first class customer experience
- Provide support to our patients via our reception our our in-house call centre
- To work as part of the whole dental team to assist in the provision and delivery of dental care services to patients
- Ensure that all activities undertaken at the practice are in line with our policies and procedures
- To maintain and update patient records and carry out administration duties
