Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Care Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support and assistance to individuals in care homes or within their own homes, ensuring their well-being and comfort. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in care settings or home care is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with daily activities such as personal care, dressing, and mobility
- Supporting individuals with their care plans tailored to their specific needs
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with medication management as instructed by healthcare professionals
- Ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients at all times
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
- Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams
- Driving clients to appointments or social activities when required (if qualified)
Skills
- Driving licence
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided
- Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately
- Good IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times
Pay: £12.21-£12.75 per hour
