Job Summary
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machinery used in fish vaccination processes. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise mechanical knowledge and technical skills within a dynamic production environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who are happy to work away from home weekly. The position is seasonal and runs from August until December.

Responsibilities
- Operate machinery and other equipment in accordance with production schedules.
- Set up machines
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Handle fish with care
- Use hand tools on rare occasions
- Ensure quality standards are maintained by inspecting vaccination and fish health
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following health and safety regulations.
- Document operational data accurately for production records.
Requirements
- Working away from home from home, travelling on Sunday and returning home on Friday once the job is completed
- A valid UK driving license, if nominated to drive an additional payment will be earned
- Organised with good attention to detail to ensure precision in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals eager to develop their technical skills within a professional manufacturing setting while contributing to high-quality production outputs.
Full training will be provided.
This role is self employed and you will be required to handle your own taxes and invoice for services and expenses.
Pay: £150.00-£170.00 per day
