We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Revenue, Benefits & Payments Officer that will join our friendly and professional Local Taxation Team.
The Local Taxation Team is responsible for the billing and collection of Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates.
In the role of Revenue and Benefits Officer you will:

Work to a high standard to deliver excellent customer service to members of the public.
- Process customer accounts and make decisions in relation to the collection of outstanding debts to ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and procedures.
- Handle customer enquiries across multiple access channels including telephone and e mail and be able to interpret, validate, and process information and process work accurately to set timescales.
- Have good communication and IT skills with ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Have the ability to liaise with other agencies, authorities, departments, and services in relation to casework.
