We're working with hotels, events venues and private hire clients across London who need reliable waiting and banqueting staff for weddings, conferences, gala dinners and restaurant service through the autumn season.
You'll be matched to paid shifts based on your availability, skills, and location. No long-term commitment required - just great work when it suits you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting tables and preparing the room to the venue's standard before service
- Greeting and seating guests warmly, and looking after them throughout
- Taking orders accurately and serving food and drinks at pace
- Working banquet service - plated, buffet or silver - for anything from 20 to 400 covers
- Clearing and resetting between courses without disrupting the room
- Supporting the bar and back of house during busy periods
- Following food hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Packing down at the end of service and leaving the space right
What We're Looking For
- Experience in table service, banqueting, buffet or hotel food and beverage (preferred, with training given)
- A calm, friendly presence with guests, even when the room is full
- Speed and accuracy under pressure during service rushes
- Happy to be on your feet for long shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Smart black-and-white or all-black uniform (we'll confirm per venue)
- Punctual and reliable - clients depend on staff who turn up ready to go
- Right to Work in the UK (verified before your first shift. NOT APPROPRIATE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS)
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is a plus
