We are looking to appoint Night Residential Support Workers, who will work as part of a team supervising young people during waking night shifts, supporting with behaviours that challenge, administering medication, and undertaking household tasks, such as cooking, cleaning and laundry, while the young people are asleep.
Salary: £29,308 - £29,834 (Salary includes a market supplement, starting salary is subject to qualifications)
This role is 40 Hours per week, 52 weeks per year.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate:
- A patient, caring, compassionate child-centred approach
- Ideally have previous experience of working in a residential setting and supporting children with SpecialEducational Needs and Disabilities
- Excellent communication skills, as well as experience of report writing and record keeping
- Emotional intelligence and resilience with the ability to react calmly in challenging situations
- Able to provide personal care and administer medication, dependent on our student needs
