Job Summary
We are seeking passionate Chefs to join our team. We are a small independent pub group with 3 venues, one in Hotwells the others in Clifton wood and St michels Hill. 1 venue has a kitchen up and running serving freshly prepared food mostly pub style during the week and roasts on a sunday. We will be opening the kitchens in the other 2 venues over the next 2 months. Kitchen hours are 4-9pm week days and 12-9pm weekends
The ideal candidate will have a background in culinary arts and food production, with the ability to create exceptional dishes while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will play a pivotal role in menu development, kitchen running, and helping the kitchen team to deliver an outstanding dining experience. We are also seeking an aspiring chef that is passionate about food and has good food knowledge but not necessarily got chef experience, as full training will be given
Duties
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and production in the kitchen.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards for quality and presentation.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices within the kitchen.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff when needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
- Monitor kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency and quality.

- Proficient in culinary techniques with extensive knowledge of food production and preparation.
- Able to work well within a kitchen team environment and with front of house.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence when required.
- Creative flair for developing new dishes that delight guests.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and management.
