Tim Allsop Motor Engineers Ltd is a busy independent Bosch Car Service Centre based in Bridlington. We provide a full range of vehicle services, including:
- MOT Testing
- Servicing & Repairs
- Auto Electrical Work
- Diagnostic Testing
- Air Conditioning
- Tyres & Exhausts
As part of the Bosch Car Service network and operating under the TSI Approved Code of Practice, we work to nationally recognised standards and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
The Role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our growing team. An MOT Tester qualification would be preferred, but is not essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional, fast-paced workshop with ongoing training and development opportunities available.
Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
- Carrying out servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnostics and fault finding
- Timing belt and wet belt replacements
- Conducting MOT tests (if qualified)
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
- Working independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 qualification minimum
- Previous garage/workshop experience essential
- MOT Tester qualification preferred
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Good attitude and willingness to learn new technologies
- Own tools required
- Full driving licence required
Hours & Benefits
- Full-time, permanent position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- 1-hour lunch break
- 22 days holiday plus statutory holidays
- Salary negotiable depending on experience and skill level
- Ongoing training opportunities available
