About Us:
We are a rapidly expanding Warehouse. To strengthen our UK operations, we are looking for a experienced Customs Clearance & Compliance Specialist to manage all customs authorizations and act as the direct liaison with UK customs authorities.
The Role:
As the key point of contact between our company and UK Customs (HMRC & Border Force) , you will lead the process of applying for customs authorizations and ensure full compliance for all goods moving through our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
· Customs Authorisations: Lead the application process for new customs authorisations and approvals with UK customs.
· Liaison with Authorities: Act as the direct point of contact for all communications with UK Customs and Border Force. Manage customs queries, inspections, and audits efficiently.
· Compliance Management: Ensure all import/export declarations are accurate and compliant with current UK Trade Tariff regulations.
Who We Are Looking For:
· Experience: Proven experience in a customs clearance, or compliance role within the UK.
· Language Skills: Native-level English speaker is essential. Must have exceptional communication skills to liaise confidently with UK customs officials.
· Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK import/export procedures, customs warehousing regimes, and the Customs Declaration Service.
