Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within private residences and commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all rooms are kept tidy and organised according to client specifications
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organising clothing and linens
- Prepare simple meals or snacks as required, demonstrating basic cooking skills
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products to ensure smooth operation of the household or premises
- Maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and preferences
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and products
- Customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to perform light cooking tasks when required
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to different schedules and client requirements
