We are seeking an EXPERIENCED, dedicated Heavy Plant Operator to join our production team based in Horwich. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our operations by operating quarry equipment and ensuring the safe production of high-quality aggregates.
Responsibilities
- Operate quarry machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment for maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency.
- Assist in loading and unloading materials as required.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN AND BE ABLE TO OPERATE CRUSHERS, SCREENERS & EXCAVATORS ABOVE 20 TONNES.
- Proficiency in using excavators and other quarry equipment.
- Valid commercial driving license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Hours of work Monday to Friday 7am - 5.30pm & Saturday 7am till 1pm (Saturday overtime)
