Oakley Wilsons is seeking an experienced wall and floor tiler to join our refurbishment team. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical tiling ability who can also work well within a wider team of contractors delivering high-quality property refurbishments.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ professional tiling experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce high-quality finishes consistently. As part of a collaborative refurbishment team, you will also be expected to support other trades when required, including basic painting and decorating or general tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality tiling installations.
- Fault find and repair existing tiling installations within residential properties.
- Prepare surfaces, set out work accurately, and ensure professional and long-lasting finishes.
- Work as part of a refurbishment team and assist with other trade tasks when needed (e.g., painting, decorating, general tasks).
- Follow project timelines and work to deadlines while maintaining exceptional workmanship.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and the office team, including sending photo updates via email.
- Represent the company professionally when working in clients’ homes and properties.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a professional tiler.
- Confident working with a range of tile types.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ability to pass DBS checks
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Either 9:00 am – 6:00 pm or 8:00 am – 5:00 pm or 7:00am - 4:00pm
Benefits
- Salary between £32,000 and £37,000, dependent on experience.
