As a Resource Church, we are committed to evangelism, discipleship, social action and leadership development, with a long-term vision to plant and revitalise churches across Wythenshawe and beyond. Children, youth and families are at the heart of this vision, as we seek to reach those currently unconnected to church and see a new generation encounter Jesus and grow as disciples.

- Pioneer evangelistic activities, holiday clubs, family outreach and seasonal mission opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with local primary and secondary schools.
- Develop opportunities for children and families outside the church to connect and explore faith.
- Recruit, train and support volunteers and emerging leaders.
- Provide appropriate pastoral support to children, young people and families.
- Ensure safeguarding and good practice are embedded across the ministry.
- Work collaboratively with the wider church staff and leadership team.
- Develop sustainable approaches that can be replicated as part of future church planting and revitalisation.
Experience
- Experience in children’s, youth or families ministry.
- Strong relational and pastoral skills with children, young people and parents/carers.
- Ability to recruit, train and lead volunteers.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A heart for evangelism and discipleship.
- Commitment to safeguarding.
- Experience in urban or deprived communities would be desirable.
- Experience working in schools or community settings would be desirable.
- Experience in pioneering ministry, church planting or leadership development would be desirable.
