FloFlame Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a growing family-run business based in Colchester. We provide high-quality domestic plumbing, heating, bathroom refurbishment and air conditioning services throughout Colchester and the surrounding areas.
Our reputation has been built on honest advice, quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. We're looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our team and grow with the business.
The Role
As a Plumbing & Heating Engineer, you'll carry out a wide variety of domestic work, including:
- Boiler installations and replacements
- Boiler servicing and breakdown diagnostics
- Central heating installations, repairs and maintenance
- General domestic plumbing repairs
- Fault finding and diagnostics
- Hot water cylinder installations and repairs
- Full bathroom, en suite and WC refurbishments, including first and second fix plumbing
- Supporting on larger air conditioning installation projects alongside our air conditioning team
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Identifying opportunities for new boiler, bathroom and air conditioning installations
Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary of £45,000 per year
- £50 bonus for every new boiler, bathroom or air conditioning installation you introduce that results in a completed job

Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- Optional overtime available
Essential Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in domestic plumbing and heating
- Current Gas Safe ACS qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Professional, reliable and takes pride in producing high-quality work
Desirable Skills
- G3 Unvented Hot Water qualification
- Bathroom installation experience
- Renewable heating experience
- Interest in air conditioning or willingness to develop new skills
