At The Handbag Clinic, we blend luxury with sustainability, restoring and reselling designer handbags while helping brands and consumers extend the lifecycle of their prized possessions. We partner with some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses, including Jimmy Choo, Burberry, Celine, and Bulgari, and operate in prestigious locations such as Selfridges Oxford Street.
As our Omni-Channel Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in optimising stock across our online business and retail concession network while supporting the visual merchandising of our ecommerce platform. Using sales data, geographic trends and customer demand, you will ensure the right products are available in the right locations, creating a seamless shopping experience across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock allocation and rotation between Head Office and concession locations based on sales performance, geographic trends and customer demand.
- Monitor stock availability, sell-through and inventory levels to maximise sales and minimise aged stock.
- Coordinate stock transfers, replenishment and logistics, ensuring all movements are accurately recorded and completed efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory across all channels, investigating and resolving stock discrepancies.
- Own the day-to-day visual merchandising of the website, ensuring products, categories and collections are presented in a commercially effective way.
- Support new product launches, seasonal campaigns and promotional events across both online and retail channels.
- Work closely with Buying, Retail, Ecommerce, Marketing and logistics teams to ensure stock and merchandising strategies are aligned.
- Monitor website performance and customer shopping behaviour, making recommendations to improve product visibility, conversion and the overall customer experience.
- Identify opportunities to improve merchandising processes, stock flow and omni-channel efficiency.
Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and stock data.
- Excellent Excel and reporting skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Experience in similar role desired but not essential.
