Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and production of various baked goods.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Serve customers and prepare hot drinks.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection
- Decorate finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bakery area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with a small team to ensure efficient workflow
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a bakery or kitchen setting is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of baking, barista techniques and food preparation methods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
