Location: Two sites (approximately 1 mile apart)
Position: Cleaner
Hours: 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday – 6am to 2pm Friday
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and trustworthy Cleaner to join our team.
The role will involve cleaning across two company sites, which are approximately one mile apart. The successful applicant must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, as they will need to travel between both sites during the working day.
The cleaning will include offices, toilets, kitchens, staff areas and some shopfloor/manufacturing areas, so the applicant must be comfortable working in a busy factory environment when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising men’s and women’s toilet facilities across both sites.
- Cleaning kitchens and staff break areas at both sites.
- Cleaning offices, desks, tables and office furniture.
- Dusting and polishing office surfaces.
- Cleaning the inside of windows where required.
- Cleaning microwaves, refrigerators and kitchen surfaces.
- Vacuuming carpets and rugs.
- Sweeping and mopping hard floors.
- Emptying bins and replacing liners.
- Cleaning designated shopfloor and manufacturing areas where required.
- Ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or cleaning supply requirements.
- Working safely and following site health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Comfortable working across offices, staff areas and shopfloor environments.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Hardworking with pride in maintaining clean and safe working areas.
