Warehouse Operative
£13.67 per hour | Temporary to Ongoing | Immediate Start Available
Nu Staff are recruiting for skilled warehouse operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation based in Bedwas.
You’ll be responsible for supporting warehouse operations, and assisting with assembly and goods movement.
Hours of Work (3-Shift Rotation):
- Mornings: 6:00AM – 2:00PM
- Afternoons: 2:00PM – 10:00PM
- Nights: 10:00PM – 6:00AM
Pay Rate:
£13.67 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld scanners and picking lists.
- Inspect goods to ensure quality, correct quantities, and damage-free packaging.
- Unload and load vehicles safely, including containers and delivery vehicles.
- Maintain stock accuracy, assist with regular counts, and report any discrepancies.
- Support goods-in, goods-out, and replenishment activities as needed.
- Rotate stock effectively to ensure older items are used first.
- Keep your work area clean, organised, and compliant with all safety procedures
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Counterbalance, Reach, and Bendi forklift licences
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge and basic troubleshooting skills
- Good teamwork and problem-solving abilities
- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive attitude
Location:
Bedwas – must be able to commute reliably
