Job Overview
Scoutco a Personal Consultancy team are looking to attract a senior recruitment consultant to join our company to primarily assist in providing Nursery Staffing to one of our national clients. The role is senior in nature as our main client requires a certain level of quality of which the salary will reflect.
The ideal consultant will need the following experience in order to progress in the role:
Operating systems. Whether it be our own CRM, Excel, Word today’s recruitment world is pushed by the ability to use systems to assist you with end to end recruitment. Being IT literate is essential in today’s modern recruitment practice.
Candidate Sourcing. You must have the correct experience and initiative to source relevant, quality candidates. Using various methods online, social media, professional platforms, referrals, job fairs and any further innovative means. Essentially the whole process starts and relies heavily on sourcing, your knowledge and experience should tell you whether a candidate is going to suit the role.
Communicational skills. Absolutely essential to any business yet alone recruitment, the ability to build friendly but always professional relationships with candidates while nurturing them through the on-boarding stages at their new desired positions is essential. Candidate retention is extremely important when recruiting permanent and bank positions. Losing candidates by poor communication or the inability to identify someone’s professional and or personal needs is costly to all parties. Able recruiters with good communicational skills will have very low candidate drop offs and therefore evidence of current ability; previous professional positions will help drive quality moving forward.
Industry Knowledge. We expect senior consultants to bare knowledge of industry standards. Terms of business, engagement with candidates, pay structures, Human Resources, giving correct options to candidates and clients alike. Specifics will be given to consultants by their ability to inform and document correctly is essential within the role.
Working Structure
We have brand new offices purposed built for us located in Gorseinon, Swansea, equipped with onsite free parking for all staff. Kitchen, bathroom facilities. Huge selection of amenities locally such as food, post office, banking etc. The role is Office based, standard hours 9 -5pmMonday to Friday. We try to set the hours to ensure all staff have the correct life balance, however experienced recruiters understand that it isn’t always the case to get all tasks achieved, therefore there is always the possibility that some evening hybrid working may be required during essential times.
Pay
Your starting salary provided you have proven at interview level your experienced enough for the role will start at £28,000. Your OTEshould be circa £35,000 given the opportunity and bonus structure setup to incentivise any consultant.
