Job Summary
The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, being the main Housekeeper at Northrepps Cottage, meeting and greeting guests, being on hand to deal with any issues during their stay, facilitating special requests and prepare breakfast packs or meals as required, minor maintenance etc. Outside of these duties, you will be working as a Housekeeper across our portfolio of properties at Forest Park to include our Glamping Cabins, Cottages and the cleaning of our Facilities Blocks. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing homemade picnics, breakfasts, and evening meals. Cooking responsibilities will be compensated at a higher hourly rate.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary Housekeeper for Northrepps Cottage, ensuring the property is presented to a consistently high standard.
- Meet and welcome guests on arrival, providing a warm and professional first impression.
- Be available to respond promptly to guest queries, issues, and requests throughout their stay.
- Prepare breakfast packs, homemade picnics, and evening meals as required.
- Accommodate special guest requests wherever possible to enhance the guest experience.
- Carry out minor maintenance tasks and report any repairs or maintenance issues.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation across all assigned properties.
- Support housekeeping operations across the wider Forest Park portfolio, including:
- Glamping Cabins
- Holiday Cottages
- Facilities Blocks (showers, toilets, and communal areas)
- Work efficiently both independently and as part of the housekeeping team.
- Follow all health and safety, food hygiene, and company procedures.
Ideal Experience & Skills
- Previous housekeeping experience, preferably within the hospitality, holiday park, hotel, or self-catering accommodation sector.
- Experience preparing homemade breakfasts, picnics, and evening meals.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food preparation practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and manage workload effectively.
- Good attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
- Basic DIY or maintenance skills would be an advantage.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and peak holiday periods.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- A full UK driving licence would be desirable (if travel between properties is required).

Pay: £14.00 per hour
