We are seeking a Power Generation Engineer to join our team.
To complete routine and non-routine maintenance on Powergen equipment and associated activities as directed by the Planning Team or Central Control Room. This includes, but is not limited to, all engine overhauls, servicing, tuning, oil changes, completion of work orders, defects on the Landfill gas, Anaerobic Digestion, Natural gas utilisation and ancillary equipment. Complete contractor control, their setting to work and reporting of any defects raised. To operate the assets and carry out assigned works within agreed cost, time, and quality parameters. To provide a regional/area maintenance service and part of the 24/7 on call service to reset/re‐start/repair assets when they cannot be started remotely. To provide unplanned technical, hands-on troubleshooting to all Powergen assets. Adopt a flexible approach to ensure the priorities for the Powergen portfolio are met in a constantly changing environment, to maximise uptime and resource efficiency. To ensure all maintenance is carried out to the highest standards, with accordance to best practice and executed on time without disruption to other site activities. To maintain accurate records and work in accordance with Company policies and procedures and ensuring that key equipment is operated within the limits of the site Environmental Permit. Liaise with the site management in delivering environmental and Health and Safety compliance. Responsible for site housekeeping, general maintenance and routine tasks and checks.

What is the package?
- Basic salary of up to 44k per annum
- Part of an on-call rota with additional standby payments, plus call outs and overtime at x1.5 basic rate.
- Working hours are 45 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday.
- Up to 15% annual performance bonus.
