Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces throughout the premises
- Ensure all Resident areas, offices, corridors, and communal spaces are maintained to high standards of hygiene
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to deliver thorough cleaning results
- Follow strict health and safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Respond promptly to specific cleaning requests or urgent sanitation needs as they arise
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with organizational policies
- Support infection control measures by adhering to hospital or facility-specific cleaning procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in, preferably within healthcare or hospital environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, disinfectants, and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks over extended periods
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and respond to requests efficiently

Pay: £12.71 per hour
