Workshop Controller
Overview:
Join our team as a Workshop Controller in our continuously expanding business. As the Workshop Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations and ensuring the efficient functioning of the workshop. You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring that all workshop activities are carried out effectively. Working hours are Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30.
Duties:
- Supervise and manage a team of technicians to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality work output.
- Coordinate and schedule workshop activities to meet deadlines and targets.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering parts, and maintaining stock levels.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support staff development.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills:
- Proven experience in supervising and managing a team in a workshop environment.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively coordinate daily operations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and other departments.
- Knowledge of workshop procedures, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, solve problems efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Certification or training in workshop management or related field is a plus.
