Support Worker (Full or Part-Time)

About the Role
We are looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Flint, offering opportunities on either a Full or Part-Time basis.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support a female with autism to live fulfilling and independent life. Working as part of a supportive team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care, assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and encouraging participation in social and community activities.
Experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour, Autism & Learning Disabilities is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Important Requirements
- Female only (This is at the request of the family due to personal care tasks)
- You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Must be a fluent english speaker
Shift Pattern
- Working as part of a rota to include some weekends
- Includes a mixture of days, sleep-ins, weekdays and weekends
- Shifts offered based on service needs and your availability
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Assist with personal care, medication, and nutrition
- Support individuals to access social and recreational activities
- Accompany individuals to appointments and community outings
- Monitor and report any changes in health or behaviour
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
About You
- Caring, patient and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and reliable, with a willingness to cover shifts as needed
- NVQ in Health & Social care is desirable but not necessary
