We are looking for a committed, caring and well-motivated person to join our successful and friendly school as a Teaching Assistant. This role will involve supporting small groups of children or working with individuals both in and out of the classroom, in a warm, positive and accepting way. You will be working within a supportive team in a school that is committed to inclusion, ensuring all our children are respectful, safe and ready to learn.
The post involves:
- Working closely with teachers to raise standards and help every pupil make good progress
- Working with individuals and groups of children under the direction of the Class teacher
- Running intervention programmes for individuals or groups of children
- Undertaking administrative and classroom management tasks to support the teacher
- Midday Meal Supervision – setting up dining tables, supervising mealtime, playtime and clearing up after lunch
