Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled ADT Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining security and surveillance systems, ensuring the safety of premises and personnel. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, experience with excavators, and the ability to undertake commercial driving duties. The ideal applicant will be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate ADT security systems efficiently to monitor premises and respond to alarms or alerts promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Assist with the operation of excavators for site development or security-related tasks as required.
- Drive commercial vehicles safely to transport personnel or equipment between sites, adhering to all road safety regulations.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical components associated with security or site machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of system activity, maintenance schedules, and operational logs.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to minimise risks during operations.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Proven experience operating excavators in a professional setting.
- Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members and reporting issues clearly.
