Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC to identify potential issues early.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to minimize downtime and extend asset lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using schematics and technical manuals; utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) where applicable.
- Carry out welding and mechanical repairs as needed to fix structural or equipment-related problems.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide repairs and installations.
- Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is completed efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing facility concerns promptly and professionally while communicating clearly with team members and stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management with a strong background in electrical systems, mechanical repairs, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics, technical diagrams, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Skilled in welding techniques, electrical troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and general maintenance practices.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience managing maintenance teams or projects is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and vendors.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to handle multiple priorities professionally under pressure.
