Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to inspire and nurture young children during their formative years in our brand new vibrant nursery setting. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes early childhood development. Your leadership and management skills will ensure that each child receives personalized attention, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support early childhood development across various learning areas
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive environment where children feel valued and confident to explore
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and external professionals to support each child's individual needs
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities to ensure safety at all times
- Lead and manage a team of junior staff or assistants, providing guidance and mentorship to promote professional growth
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and developmental milestones in compliance with regulatory standards
- Ensure the nursery or childcare setting adheres to health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures at all times
What we're looking for:
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years
- Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
- A positive nurturing attitude
