Huntapac Produce Ltd is a fourth generation family-owned business which was established in 1942. Nestled in a small village in the heart of Lancashire, we specialise in growing, packing and distributing a variety of root vegetables, brassicas and salads.
Supplying some of the major supermarkets in the UK as well as independent retailers, wholesalers, food service, caterers and food manufacturing sectors standards are consistently very high and a strong management team ensure these standards are maintained at all times. Huntapac are looking for a self-motivated individual with initiative, that can work well within a team. Someone who can work to high-standards with good time management and a can-do attitude. You will preferably be experienced in using heavy cultivation equipment
- To operate a self-propelled harvester.
- To operate a trailed harvester
- Uniform provided.

- Up to 38K depending on experience. Plus overtime hours could be provided.
- Previous experience as a tractor driver (minimum 2 years).
- Our drivers on average earn between £38,000 - £50,000 a year.
Duties
- Operate and maintain tractors and other heavy equipment for various tasks on the farm.
- Assist with irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed for loading and unloading equipment or supplies.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery.
Qualifications
- Experience operating tractors or other heavy equipment is preferred..
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
