Team Manager, Broad Horizons Therapy Service
Location: Broad Horizons (BH Hub, Northampton)
Hours: 20 hours per week (across 4–5 days)
Contract: Permanent, Part-Time
Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 pro rata (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
The Team Manager plays a central leadership role in the day-to-day running of the therapy service. This role ensures the service operates in a coordinated, responsive, and consistent way, providing leadership to therapists and maintaining strong communication with families, referrers, and the operational team.
Day-to-Day Team Leadership
· Provide visible and consistent leadership to therapists
· Offer non-clinical supervision, guidance, and support
· Act as a point of escalation for concerns and decision-making
· Foster a collaborative and connected team culture
· Service Coordination & Delivery
· Manage and triage referrals and enquiries
· Allocate cases appropriately across therapists
· Maintain oversight of caseloads and service flow
· Ensure timely responses and follow-up
Communication & Relationships
· Act as a key contact for families and professionals
· Ensure clear, timely, and relational communication
· Support consistency in messaging across the service
Operational Integration
· Work closely with the operational/SLT team
· Contribute to planning and service development
· Respond flexibly to service needs and priorities
Quality & Safeguarding
· Maintain oversight of case progression
· Support safeguarding awareness and escalation
· Ensure good record-keeping and service standards
Service Development
· Support new projects and initiatives
· Contribute to continuous improvement of the service
Person SpecificationEssential
· Experience working with children, young people, or families with a trauma responsive approach
· Background in therapy, education, social work, or similar field
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Experience coordinating teams or services
· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
· Strong team player with collaborative approach
· Understanding of safeguarding processes
Desirable
· Experience in supervision or line management
· Experience contributing to service development
· Experience working in a therapeutic service environment
Working Style & Expectations
· This is an embedded role requiring presence across the working week.
· The post-holder will be a visible and accessible part of the team.
· Responsive to service needs and supporting coordination.
