We're looking for an experienced QHSE Lead within our Rock Power Connections team to drive health, safety, environmental and quality excellence across the business. Working closely with senior leadership, operational teams and clients, you'll ensure compliance, promote a positive safety culture, and support the successful delivery of critical power infrastructure projects.
Role Responsibilities

Lead and maintain the company's QHSE Management System, ensuring compliance with all legislative, regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Develop, review and implement QHSE policies, procedures, risk assessments, RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.

Conduct audits, inspections and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions and driving continuous improvement.

Support operational teams with SHEQ advice, supplier assessments, tender submissions and compliance with DNO and IDNO requirements.

Promote workforce competence and wellbeing through training programmes, safety communications and health and wellbeing initiatives.
Required Qualifications

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

Current First Aid at Work certificate.

NEBOSH Construction Certificate and/or Fire Safety qualification.

Environmental Management Systems qualification.

Internal or Lead Auditor qualification for ISO management systems.
What We're Looking For

Proven experience in a QHSE, SHEQ or Health & Safety leadership role within construction, utilities, engineering or infrastructure environments.

Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and associated audit requirements.

Experience developing and reviewing RAMS, risk assessments and CDM documentation.

Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.

Strong understanding of SHEQ legislation, compliance requirements and industry best practice.
