We are a new business based in the city centre of Sunderland within a boutique salon. We are looking to expand and grow our business with a focus on quality and luxury services that are affordable and client focused.
We’re seeking an experienced creative Makeup Artist or Lash/Brow technician with an existing client base to join our team on a self-employed basis. Whether you're passionate about bridal makeup, special events, or everyday beauty, we offer an inspiring and fully-equipped space - on a chair rental - self- employed basis within our salon.
As a self-employed professional, you will have the flexibility to set your own schedule and pricing etc Support can be given if necessary. You will be responsible for your own business liability insurance, your own payment processing, tax and HMRC requirements.
The Salon:
Based within Sunderland City Centre, in the Commissioners building.
Recently renovated salon - all new equipment.
Within secured building open 24/7 with reception (mon - Fri 9am - 5pm) and comfortable waiting area. Access to fully fitted kitchen, toilet facilities, backwash unit.
Currently offering exclusively - hair extensions services + add on coloring/ cutting/blow wave services
Whats included in chair rental:
Full equipped chair within our salon - appropriate mirror and lighting, storage cabinets, access to wash basin is required, access to fully equipped kitchen and toilet facilities, waiting area, reception (Mon-Fri 9-5pm - doorbell outside these hours), access to salon 24/7.
Tea/coffee/drinks for clients (including cups etc)
Free Wi-Fi
Fresha profile within our salon - online booking for clients
Waste and cleaning services provided within building contract
Advertising via our instagram account and website
Being part of a growing team
Business support and guidance where required
Terms:
Chair rental £100 per week
You are responsible for you own supplies e.g make up and tools/ lashes etc
Agreed discounts to be offered to your client base for hair extensions services/ other hair services such as: pin ups, coloring, wash and blow dry.

Vision:
We hope to collaborate with someone as we grow our business. Offering Accompanying hair services alongside your make up/lash services with agreed discounts for both businesses where clients book with both services.
We hope to expand our small salon and increase staffing, services offered and rooms within our salon. A paid salary role may be available in the future subject to successful growth.

A professional who has a proven client base and can bring them to our salon
Willingness to collaborate with existing hair extensions service to provide discounts for dual services booked
A professional who can work independently
Someone confident in social media advertising
