Overview
We are seeking a passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering consistent and memorable experiences. Duties
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Develop and design menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences, while sticking to who we are as a brand.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry like an experienced Sous Chef looking to take that next step.
- Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of various cooking methods.
- Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing kitchen teams.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
