Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Domestic Electrician to join our team, providing essential electrical services within residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring safety and compliance with current regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from minor repairs to complete rewiring, in a professional and customer-focused environment.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances in domestic settings
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure all work complies with relevant electrical standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and effectively to minimise downtime for clients
- Carry out electrical inspection condition reports
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding work procedures, safety protocols, and maintenance advice
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used for each job
- Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working order and adhere to health and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Domestic Electrician with a solid understanding of residential electrical systems
- Valid electrical qualification(s) recognised within the UK
- Driving licence is essential for travel between sites
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with CCTV installation or IT systems is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to health & safety standards and ongoing professional development

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
