Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individual to join our team in the Kitchen and Bar team. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively and welcoming environment, ensuring guests enjoy their experience while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. The successful candidate will be a team player with a passion for hospitality and a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in a bar or catering setting is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers efficiently and courteously
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and bar areas, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations at all times
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Provide friendly assistance to guests, answer questions about menu items
- Assist in setting up and closing down the kitchen/bar at the beginning and end of shifts
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is desirable but not essential
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and guest safety
