Bona Fide Subcontractor – Renewable Electrician
Locations: Surrey, London & the South East
The EcoGlow Group Ltd is one of the South East's leading renewable energy contractors, delivering high-quality Solar PV, Battery Storage and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations across the domestic and social housing sectors.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to partner with experienced bona fide self-employed subcontractor electricians to support our expanding workload.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality renewable energy installations, including:
- Installation and commissioning of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems
- Electrical installation and commissioning of Air Source Heat Pumps
- Consumer unit upgrades and associated electrical works where required
- Testing, inspection and certification in accordance with BS 7671
- Completing installations to MCS, TrustMark and EcoGlow quality standards
- Providing a professional customer experience and maintaining excellent workmanship
Essential Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Proven experience installing Solar PV and Battery Storage systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work as a self-employed (bona fide) subcontractor
Desirable
- Experience wiring and commissioning Air Source Heat Pumps
- 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification
- MCS installation experience
- ECS Gold Card
