We are looking for enthusiastic, confident and reliable tutors to join our growing team, delivering high-quality tuition to primary-aged children preparing for the 11+ and secondary school entrance examinations.
We are opening tuition centres across Dartford, Welling and Woolwich and are looking for tutors who are passionate about helping children build confidence, improve academically and achieve excellent results.
About the Role
You will teach small groups of pupils, primarily in Years 5 and 6, covering areas including:
- Maths
- English
- Verbal Reasoning
- Non-Verbal Reasoning
- 11+ exam preparation and technique
You will not be expected to create the curriculum or prepare teaching materials from scratch.
We will provide the curriculum, lesson plans, practice papers, worksheets and teaching resources required for each session, allowing you to focus on what matters most — teaching, explaining and helping pupils progress.

- A qualified teacher
- An experienced private tutor
- A teaching assistant with strong Maths and English skills
- A graduate with experience working with children
- A university student with excellent academic ability and previous tutoring/teaching experience
Previous 11+ teaching experience is desirable, but not essential for exceptional candidates, as training and resources will be provided.

- Be able to manage and engage a small group of pupils
- Have high expectations for pupil progress
- Be able to commit consistently to agreed weekly sessions
Knowledge of grammar-school entrance examinations would be an advantage.

Dartford | Welling | Woolwich

Working Hours
Sessions will primarily take place during:
- Weekday evenings
- Saturdays and/or Sundays
This is a part-time role with the opportunity for additional hours as we grow.

Pay: £18.76-£37.92 per hour
