We are seeking an experienced and highly organised PA/Office Supervisor to support our operations. This role is central to ensuring the smooth running of the office while providing administrative support to the Directors. The ideal candidate is pro-active and comfortable working in a fast-paced and sensitive environment.
All aspects of funeral administration, including:-
· Providing administrative support to our team of Funeral Directors on a day-to-day basis.
· Co-ordinating holidays for all employees, including arranging holiday cover when required.
· Collating and preparing payroll information on a monthly basis.
· Ensuring the smooth running of all the branches
· Keeping accurate records, both written and via the funeral management system including maintaining a visible diary of all funeral details.
· Liaising with our Funeral Directors regarding all aspects of funeral arrangements, including providing support to bereaved families.
· Raising funeral cost estimates and invoices, accurately and in a timely manner.
About you:-
· Due to the nature of this role, our ideal candidate will need to be sympathetic, trustworthy, loyal and efficient.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
· Must also be comfortable in dealing with bereaved families.
· Good IT skills (word, excel, powerpoint, etc).
· Full driving licence an advantage.
