Duties
- Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and emotional support to children and young people in the residential setting
- Implement and follow personalized care plans to meet each child's unique needs and goals
- Foster positive relationships through effective communication, active listening, and encouragement
- Support children with their daily routines, including meal preparation, hygiene, education, and recreational activities
- Maintain accurate records of progress, incidents, and care activities in accordance with organizational policies
- Assist with transportation needs by driving children to appointments, activities, or school as required
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, social workers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each child
Requirements
- Experience working with children or in childcare environments is highly desirable, however full training will be provided. Applicants with no experience are encouraged to apply
- Valid driving license and ability to drive safely for transportation duties
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
- Good IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and reporting
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Enthusiasm for supporting children's development and well-being in a residential setting

Pay: £14.50-£16.50 per hour
