We are a small, busy independent café in the heart of West Bridgford looking for a part time member of staff to start immediately. We're a small team, that offers home baked cakes, breakfasts, lunches and serves great coffee.
Working with us is about much more than just being a great barista. We are looking for positive people who have the ability be a proactive member of the team and will go above and beyond to put the customer at the centre of everything they do.
We would love to hear from people who are enthusiastic and outgoing, have a good sense of humour and a relaxed manner. It is important to us to develop a close knit, hard working team who have a friendly nature, a can do attitude and an eye for detail.
We are looking for an individual, ideally with previous hospitality experience and any barista training would be an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Taking orders and serving customers
- Preparing hot and cold drinks, including using a coffee machine to create espresso based drinks
- Taking card/cash payments and till operation
- Checking the temperature of fridges, freezers or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Tidying and cleaning at the end of the day
- Good understanding of the product range to answer customer queries
- Attention to detail while working and willingness to work as part of a team
- To comply with health, safety and hygiene guidelines and regulations
