Role Overview
As a Door Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for controlling access, managing crowd safety, monitoring security risks, and ensuring venue policies are upheld with professionalism and confidence.
This role demands vigilance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in fast-paced or high-pressure situations while delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control access points, ensuring only authorised individuals gain entry.
- Monitor CCTV systems and conduct proactive surveillance to identify and respond to potential risks.
- Deliver effective crowd management during busy periods and events to maintain safety and order.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and conflicts, including coordinating with emergency services when required.
- Enforce venue policies including age verification, behavioural standards, and safety procedures.
- Support loss prevention initiatives by identifying and addressing theft, misconduct, or suspicious activity.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence that reflects the high standards and reputation of SLG Security.
- Provide outstanding customer service while promoting a safe and positive environment for all guests and staff.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of CCTV operations, surveillance procedures, and security protocols.
- Knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures.
- Excellent observational skills and strong situational awareness.
- Confident verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a professional team.
