HGV Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm | £40k
£18.20 per hour PAYE | Immediate Start | Regular Ongoing Work
We’re looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers to join a regular delivery operation, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position after just 4 weeks.
Once permanent, the role offers a £40,000 annual salary.
The job involves regular multi-drop deliveries, typically 5–7 drops per shift, with start times between 04:00 and 08:00 and an alternating 5-day / 6-day working pattern.
The Role
- Delivering chilled, ambient and some frozen goods
- Typically completing 5–7 deliveries per shift
- Delivering and collecting cages
- Handballing goods into the appropriate delivery location
- Loading frozen goods into cages where required
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining signatures
- Providing a professional service to customers
This is a physical role involving regular cage work and manual handling.

Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Maximum 6 points
- No DD or DR convictions
- Comfortable with multi-drop deliveries and manual handling
