Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Sign Fitters Mate / Delivery Driver / Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting with the installation of signage, delivering products to various locations, and supporting general labour tasks. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, organised, and eager to learn new skills within a busy working environment. Duties
- Assist with the fitting and installation of signs at client sites, ensuring safety and precision during all tasks
- Support the delivery driver in transporting signage and related materials to designated locations
- Help load and unload equipment and products safely using appropriate manual handling techniques
- Prepare delivery routes and ensure timely collection and drop-off of goods
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, both on-site and in the vehicle
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during installation and delivery activities
- Support with general labouring tasks such as site clearance, material handling, and equipment setup as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in labouring, delivery driving, or signage installation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred; a clean driving record is desirable
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects safely (up to 25kg)
- Good organisational skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn new skills within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules
