About the Role:
Glasgow is recognised for its strong business community and growing technology sector, and at Ilelsa Digital Infrastructure and Business Solutions Ltd, we help organisations introduce new systems with confidence.
We provide practical digital infrastructure, software implementation, and business process improvement solutions to clients across the United Kingdom. Our focus is not only on delivering technology but also on ensuring that people understand it, adopt it, and gain measurable value from it.
We are looking for an Implementation Consultant who can manage client implementations from initial requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, and successful launch.
You will work closely with clients, project teams, technical specialists, and internal stakeholders to ensure that each solution is configured correctly and delivered according to business needs. This is a mid level position with responsibility for managing assigned implementation projects, but it does not include executive or departmental leadership duties.
Why Work With Us?
The Environment:
Our Glasgow office provides a professional and collaborative setting where consultants, analysts, and technical teams work together to solve real business challenges. We encourage open communication, practical problem solving, and shared ownership of project outcomes.
Meaningful Client Work:
You will support organisations undergoing operational and digital change. Your work will directly influence how clients improve their workflows, introduce new systems, and deliver better services to their customers.
Structured Delivery:
We use clear project plans, documented processes, and collaborative delivery methods. You will have access to the information, tools, and internal support required to manage implementations effectively.
Professional Growth:
You will receive opportunities to strengthen your knowledge of implementation planning, stakeholder management, business systems, data migration, testing, and client training. Relevant professional training and certification support may also be available.
Key Responsibilities:
Implementation Planning:
Develop and maintain implementation plans covering project milestones, client responsibilities, configuration activities, testing, training, and launch preparation.
Requirements Gathering:
Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business processes, operational challenges, system requirements, and desired outcomes.
System Configuration:
Configure business software and platform settings according to approved requirements, documented workflows, and agreed project scope.
Client Coordination:
Act as a key point of contact throughout the implementation process. Provide clear progress updates, manage expectations, and ensure that outstanding actions are completed on schedule.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing, issue tracking, and resolution activities before the solution is released.
Data Migration Support:
Assist with data preparation, validation, import activities, and reconciliation to ensure that client information is transferred accurately.
Training and Documentation:
Deliver system training sessions and prepare user guides, process documents, configuration records, and implementation handover materials.
Go Live Support:
Support clients during launch, monitor early system use, resolve implementation issues, and coordinate any required follow up actions.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify recurring implementation challenges and recommend improvements to templates, processes, documentation, and client onboarding methods.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
At least 3 years of experience in software implementation, business systems, project delivery, client onboarding, consulting, or a related role.
Implementation Knowledge:
A practical understanding of requirements gathering, system configuration, user acceptance testing, data migration, training, and go live support.
Client Management:
Strong communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non technical users.
Organisation:
The ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, client actions, and project documents while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
Problem Solving:
A structured and practical approach to identifying issues, evaluating options, and coordinating solutions with technical and business teams.
Technical Confidence:
Comfort working with business software, cloud platforms, spreadsheets, reporting tools, workflow systems, and implementation documentation.
Communication Skills:
Strong written and spoken English is required for client meetings, training sessions, project updates, and business documentation.
Mindset:
You are organised, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned implementations. You remain calm when priorities change, communicate risks early, and focus on delivering practical solutions that clients can use successfully.
