The Brampton Halt is in a stunning village location with a fantastic garden, BBQ and marquee for events. It has an amazing reputation for premium drinks, fantastic food and great service and so it is a great place to develop your experience and skills.
We're looking for an ambitious Deputy Manager to join the team who is looking for a career progression in hospitality; loves a busy and varied pub; and is keen to work in a large site, manage a big team and progress quickly towards a General Manager position.
Working alongside the General Manager (GM) and the current management team you will be an experienced hospitality manager who enjoys managing and leading a team. You will be passionate about delivering great service too and making sure that our guests always have the best time. You will have the responsibility for the team on shift ensuring that they are briefed well and that all KPIs and targets for that day are achieved. You will be honest, reliable and someone who is a role model to the team in terms of your communication and actions. In addition, you will have attention to detail to make sure that all the work and duties required happen to ensure that the business performs consistently.
The role also requires someone who has worked with a kitchen and can facilitate a good working relationship between the back and front of house team. In addition, you will also support the GM in back office duties such as stock management and compliance.
If you have an interest in promoting the pub on social media and suggesting ideas for events you will be given every opportunity to develop your creativity to support the growth of the business.
The ideal candidate will have already worked in a supervisory role in a pub and be outgoing, reliable and looking for a career. At McManus we are continually growing and so looking for Assistant Managers who have the capability and drive to be General Managers in the future.
