Job Summary
We are seeking a self-employed Painter and Decorator to deliver high-quality painting and decorating services for residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. A valid driving licence is essential for accessing various sites.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to ensure a smooth finish
- Apply paints, varnishes, , and other finishes with
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide professional advice
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Transport tools, materials, and equipment to different sites using your own vehicle
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related trades
- Valid driving licence with reliable vehicle access
- Fluency in English, with strong communication skills to liaise with clients and suppliers
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to painting and decorating work
