Duties
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly using technical manuals to identify mechanical issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to execute repairs efficiently
- Follow detailed schematics and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex equipment problems
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving parts or equipment safely using appropriate techniques and tools
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and adhere to company quality protocols
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and service history for each vehicle
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic or similar role with strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, and diagnostic codes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and suspension components
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients when necessary
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot accurately and efficiently
- Valid certification or license in automotive repair or related field is preferred but not mandatory

Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
