Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Support Workers to provide high-quality assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living. The role involves supporting clients with daily activities, personal care, administering medication, ensuring their safety and wellbeing, and fostering a comfortable and respectful atmosphere. Prior experience is not essential as training will be provided . This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need while working within a supportive team.
Duties
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
- Provide specialised care for individuals with learning Disabilities, Diabetes, Epilepsy & mental health.
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Manage behaviour effectively and implement behaviour management strategies
- Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental wellbeing
- Support clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safe transportation
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Support families by providing updates on client care and progress
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments is preferred
- Experience in caregiving roles involving medication administration and behaviour management
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when required for patient transfers or moving equipment
Working Pattern
- Monday to Sunday
- Includes weekends, evenings, and sleep-ins
- Average 40 hours per week
